Sorry can’t seem to find the info before I plonk down $14.99, but does DTTG allow pictures I snap using my iPhone to be included into notes and synced back to the desktop?
It says “take a picture of important information and convert it to a searchable PDF*”, but what if I want a picture of an object and type in some text to be included in the note?
Each document in DEVONthink To Go has a Comment field that corresponds to the Spotlight Comments field in DEVONthink. However, I just tried what you are wanting to do by a) capturing a picture on the iPhone, b) entering some text in the Comment field, and c) syncing to the Mac. The results were inconsistent, sometimes the comments synced fine, sometimes they were lost. This is on the initial sync only-once the document has synced, my experience has been that the comments sync reliably 100% of the time. Looks like there is a bug in the initial sync routine.
Fixed with the next version of DEVONnote and DEVONthink.
