DTTG Markdown editor jumping to the end of a note

I’m having real difficulty using the DTTG editor with Markdown notes. Whenever I edit text, the cursor jumps to the end of the note. Sometimes, I also lose some the last few edits. This can happen every few seconds and is very frustrating.

Please advise on how I resolve this, as this is preventing me from getting things done on the iPad.
