DTTG3 stopped syncing on my iPhone 12 but works on my iPad

Hi,since a week DTTG3 stopped syncing on my iPhone, but works perfectly with my Mac and my iPad (they are on iOs26 and MacOS 26).

The sync message is « Votre appareil n’a pas pu se connecter au serveur. Votre serveur ou votre réseau rencontrent peut-être des problèmes. »

I’ve contacted Apple because I have troubles with another app With iCloud to. It’s ok now, but Apple can’t help me for DTTG3.

What can I do ? There are many files an PDFs I need to always have with me…

Note: Version 3 is in maintenance and will be retired from development and support at some point. Version 4 is the active focus of development. We highly encourage you to upgrade sooner rather than later.

  • Are you using a shallow sync, i.e., Download Files: On demand?
    • If so, why? What iPhone do you have?

Select Action (…) > Settings > About and tap the Contact Us link to start a support ticket.

Ok, it’s done.

I prefer not to use DTTG4 : buy an app, ok, rent, no way ! It’s like I’m not the owner of my files and documents…

Agreed on this!

Forcing a subscription to sync is an instant no go.

I feel like I got slapped in the face personally because I bought just a couple of months before the subscription was released.

I drooled over DT for years saved for months and was so excited to finally be able to use the best system available only to have it yanked away.

“Oh you can keep your version and use it forever”

But

“Well we’re not going to support that version anymore just get the subscription”

Welcome @barb
You (and anyone) can continue to use version 3 if you’d like. However, that does not change the fact it is in maintenance and will be retired. Time and technology change and the versions of our apps and the operating systems will continue drifting further apart. So we can’t be expected to continue developing the current and a legacy version in perpetuity.

I am sorry to let you know but I am unable to reinstall DTTG3 - app store says app not available in country or region (i am in India). Context: I have DT4pro on mac expired but not keen on continuing with pro but I want to be be able to sync and see my documetns on DTTG3.

Did you try to download it from your own purchases? I just did and it worked. From the main App Store, it no longer works.

i tried that.. but i do not get any clickable links from my purchase history. any further help on this will be great! thanks

am seeing the app now. will try it out
