In my genealogy database, I have a lot of records like census images that need to be in multiple groups. So far, I have been duplicating them, because I wasn’t sure, when replicating, if I later want to export my folders and share them, will the replicated items be aliased for Mac users, and an at all, for Windows users?
Obviously duplicating makes my database unnecessarily large, but I don’t want to risk losing the files in each person’s group folder.
