I’m stumbling about an issue where Easyfind lists eMails as a search result while the *.eml is not active.
Config: Easyfind 4.9.3 on MacOSX 10.10.4.
Is there a way to prevent this?

The options of the drawer are only used while searching for contents.
damn, the advantage of people who can read… 
But I can search for files&folders, files, folders or file content.
Could the selector be for file types in general? Okay that’s another feature request.

There are no such plans right now but we’ll consider this for future releases.
