# Email archiving - emails erroneously showing as "previously imported"

Hello,  
An odd problem with the email archive functionality. I’m trying to archive my “Sent Messages” mailbox using the archive tool in DT3 (3.9.8, Mac, Apple Mail). I think it successfully imported all messages sent before 2021, but for messages after 2021 it seems not all of them were imported. For example, when I look at the database, the “Sent Messages” does not contain ANY messages sent in 2023, and when I do some keyword searches for example messages, I can’t find them anywhere else in the database either. In the import window, they are all checked as “imported”. But if they were imported, then where are they? And if they weren’t imported, then how can I make them import properly? I looked around in the forum here and it seems sometimes there are problems with the unique IDs not being truly unique, but what can I do about that?

Welcome @escargot  
In DEVONthink, hold the **Option key** and choose **Help \> Report bug** to start a support ticket. Include an uncropped, full-resolution screen capture of DEVONthink where you say no emails are found.
