Email Search in DTTG

Trying to make sure I understand something.

If I drag an email into DTTG on iPad, it does not seem like the resulting email is searchable?

Is this correct? If I sync to the DEVONthink on the Mac, does the item now become searchable?

Any help is appreciated.

Have you purchased the Pro Pack (see Settings > Manage) to support viewing emails?

I see that you can search for the title of the email, but what about text within the email?

Can you search for say “Bruno” for instance?

Yes. armadillo is in the content of the email as well.

Reindexing made this work properly. Not sure why that would be though? Is this something that should be done periodically?
