I don’t remember what I did to cause this, but for a couple of months now I have two group folders that keep recreating themselves in my global inbox. One happens every day, one every two days. This is probably something very simple that I’m just overlooking. I keep deleting the folders, but they keep spawning, and are always empty. Anyone have a clue as to what sort of monster I’ve created, and what silver bullet can put it down?
Check your setting in Preferences > Sync for “Conflicts”. Is “Duplicate Documents” selected?
- Quit DEVONthink.
- In the Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste: ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2/Inbox.
- If you see the folders in here (and this is where they should be) you can safely delete them.
- Relaunch DEVONthink.
- If the folder is not there, then repeat starting at step 2 with this path: ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Sorter/Global Inbox
Thanks, Korm. It is set to “Use latest document.”
Thanks, BlueFrog. They were in that folder and I deleted them. I’ll let you know if they reappear.
