Enforce that document has exactly 1 of a set of tags--ideas?

What I really want to do is to somehow set up a rule that all documents in a folder tree have exactly one of a set of tag values–e.g., each document is “red”, “green”, or “blue”. I suspect that I can do this with an AppleScript–but haven’t had the time to look into this yet. Any thoughts of how I might achieve this otherwise in DevonThink Pro? Are Smart Folders any help?

AppleScript and/or smart groups are probably only useful if there are criteria to assign the tags - why does document X get the tag Y?

Thx–I’ll look into it. I love AppleScript, but can’t always find the time to actually do the programming that I need, so was looking for a “quick fix.”
