I’d like to regularly export one or two databases as folder/files regularly (1/week or so) to an iCloud Drive shared folder. Why? This will include important information and data “ICOD” in case of death. I don’t want my wife to have to figure out how to run devonthink in order to retrieve important information and family documents in the case of an emergency. I guess another way would be to invest in the server edition, but I believe that is only local networked base and wouldn’t be accessible anywhere, anytime. Any thoughts on how to do this?
It’s a manual process for me using menu File > Export > Files and Folders
I should look into an applescript to automate it
In-case-of-death, but also because I want versioning backup,
and also access to my data independent of Devonthink
I export to an external drive, which is backed up to the cloud using the Arq service
and a usb flash stick for my family ICOD

Do you really have ICOD data entered into databases that frequently?
Most ICOD data is pretty static, but I’m adding memorabilia pretty regularly. Some of that my wife will want access to it regularly while I’m still here;)
