Exporting files to RTF

Over the past year, I’ve been digitizing my writings, mostly articles, and a longer piece. Here’s how I usually do it:

  1. I scan the documents and save them as a PDF.

  2. I put the PDF in DEVONthink.

  3. I export the PDF as an RTF file.

  4. I open the RTF file in my writing app (Ulysses) to edit it.

But this workflow has been acting up lately. When I try to export the PDF to an RTF file, I only get a blank document.

I think DEVONthink might have changed something because it can’t export PDF files to files with a different format anymore.

Do you know if there’s a setting in DEVONthink I need to change to fix this? Or is this something that needs the attention of the programmers?
