If I annotate PDFs within Devonthink Pro, is it possible to export the highlighted/annotated text to an “annotation” linked to the PDF file? I can’t see any obvious way to do this.

DEVONthink doesn’t support this yet but it’s at least planned for future releases. In the meantime third-party tools or Automator could be used to accomplish this, see e.g. Extract annotations and highlighted text from PDF into RTF
does DT3 support now?
