External disk database use on Ipad M1 or Ipad Pro

Hi,
I’m getting an ipad (either M1 air or Pro) soon and plan to use DTTG after.
For my desktop use, I have my Devonthink Pro databases stored on an external storage device, which I swap between my work and home computers (to avoid syncing).
I was wondering if it is possible to use the same databases on the external disk with the DTTG app on the iPad M1 or iPad Pro, seeing as though they can connect external devices/disks.

DTTG might not use the same internal structure for its databases as DT. @BLUEFROG or someone else from DEVONtechnologies might know.

No, this is not possible with DEVONthink To Go.
