Issue when Indexing from iCloud Bookends sub-folder
Issue is BE sub-folder contains 95 items
Indexed Sub-group within DT4 only has 52 indexed; the others go into the Group above
Have deleted the Indexed Sub-group in DT4; have trialed and waited; have moved the incorrectly filed Indexed files into the desired sub-folder; have refreshed the Indexing , and closed all and re-opened DT4
what am I missing , because DT4 is superb , especially now that I have fast internet

My hunch is incomplete sync by iCloud, you have not set those folders to be “downloaded” in iCloud, or perhaps iCloud “disk optimisation” is turned on? Check how you have configured iCloud.
some good thoughts however got me thinking - checked as you suggested; redid it all , then noticed that some of the Indexed files hit the target Index group within DT4 and THEN were moved , =>>
delved into my smart rules and FOUND a rule that was moving files , DT4 SO EFFICIENT (of course)
I had tagged the files in BE and the smart rule was picking this up ,
BUT - still some renigade files , that I had tagged directly ,
PROBLEM SOLVED
DT4 DB Tidy now , , , relax
