My typical DT3 workflow often includes temporarily accessing a database listed in my sidebar "Favorites”: for example, moving an item from an open and regularly used database into a less-frequently used, closed database listed in Favorites, then closing the less-frequently used database. (Think: putting something away in a Favorites-listed archive for later review.) In these situations, it would be really handy if I could control-click or right-click on the name of a closed database in Favorites to show an option to open it in a New Window. That way, I wouldn’t lose focus on the database in the foreground window: open the archive, drag the file over, close the archive, back to work.
The next release will add an item to the contextual menu to open databases in new windows.
