When scanning using OCR, I get an option to set the creation date, but when unchecking the Convert to Searchable PDF that dialog box doesn’t appear. I’ve got the script for changing the creation date and it works fine, it’s just an extra step. I’ve noticed that OCR files (PDF+text) are about 2 MB for a four page document, and it really doesn’t need to be searchable for my needs. The same document as PDF only is ~800 kb.
It would be nice if the option existed regardless of OCR or not when scanning.
