Feature suggestion for text editing

  1. It would be nice to be able to do text editing without first having to activate the editing function and then later on needing to end it to continue working
  2. Selection of text feels fiddly to me and I wish DTTG would supply selection handles in the style that many iOS apps offer. They are easier to work with, at least for me.

  1. This behavior is due to the demands of the majority of our users. They wanted to avoid accidental edits, as well as having Markdown documents not jump into edit mode when doing things like touching a link.
  2. Text selection is “fiddly” in every app on iOS :laughing:

Text editing will be a focus of the next major release of DTTG.
