File not available

I have tried to read a PDF I added to my database in 2013 but it just shows a thumbnail and the legend "File not yet available’ with a download button. Clicking the button gives a twirl for a few seconds then nothing else, I am unable to read or expand the PDF to a larger size
Why would this be happening as I thought the original would be in the database, and can I recover it?

Was this PDF added on the same computer or another one or on an iPhone/iPad? Is or was this PDF indexed or imported?

It was definitely imported, not indexed. I can’t remember for sure but I’m fairly certain it would have been via this computer, slight possibility it may have been via iOS but I doubt it.

What kind of sync location do you use? Is the file available on any other computer/device?

Hi, I sync through iCloud and I can’t download the doc on my phone or iPad either. Thanks

In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket.
