Folder Actions - import when DT is open

Hello everyone,

the provided folder action scripts seem to open DevonThink directly. Is there any way to tell the scripts to keep DevonThink shut and start the importing process as soon as I manually open the programme?

That would be a big help, since I am not keeping the application open all the time and use hazel to provide some basic tasks before importing into DT.

No, scripts always require a running application. But another possibility since version 3 is to index the folder and use smart rules to process the files (instead of using folder actions or Hazel).
