I noticed that several Folder/Group Names are in RED and others in black.
What does this mean?

The item is replicated (meaning located in multiple locations), see e.g. instances in Info inspector to figure out where.

Thanks for the quick replay.
I see that these data duplicated/also located in a folder/group called “Sync”
Not sure if I can delete the sync folder. → any idea?
IMO: SYNC folder could be a remain of an older DevonThink version…??
Im using DevoeonThink since almost 10…15 years…
(only as location to save/archive files/paperwork. No fancy organisation or automated workflow)
(I sync my databases via Apple iCloud between several devices.)

The Sync group was used for DEVONthink To Go 1.x & 2.x but is obsolete now. Before deleting it, you should ensure that all items inside this group are either replicants or duplicates.
