As I progress from collecting notes and material in DTPO to actually writing my thesis, the footnotes issue becomes interesting. Although I had a brief look at scrivener (which can export RTF with footnotes that I see in Mellel), I’d prefer to write in DTPro, since I can perform a “see also” on paragraphs I wrote. Only problem so far is lack of footnote support - I currently have to reformat every single note in Mellel.
I know there is a thread about rtf footnotes and a script, but I can’t get it to work.
So: Any ideas, workarounds, or kludges how to write a footnote in a DTPro document that is visible as a footnote after importing it into Mellel?
