From Index to Import

This may be a “newbie” question, but I was unable to find the answer to this question.

Following a full “indexing” of all folders I wish to index on DEVONThink, is there a way to import / move the same folders and files to DEVONTHINK (then delete the original) without duplicating information on DEVONThink?

Welcome @rjdiaz

If you select an indexed item in DEVONthink and choose Data > Move into Database, it will be imported into the database without leaving files behind in the Finder to clean up.
