Full screen document view bug report

Hi!

I believe I may have found a small, fairly inconsequential bug that I sometimes witnessed in DTPO2 and now encountered in DT3. I believe the steps are:

  1. Open a PDF document in its own document viewer.
  2. Make that document viewer full-screen, i.e. use the green button to give it its own full screen space.
  3. Open some other window.
  4. Restart macOS with the setting “reopen windows when logging back in”.
  5. The document window should now look like this. The document has been mirrored (not rotated) vertically and horizontally, as far as I can tell:

This should disappear if you close and reopen the document viewer.

I hope someone can replicate! All the best!

Which version of macOS do you use? Does this also affect only PDF documents or also other types?

macOS 10.14.6 – haven’t gone to Catalina yet. I believe I have observed something similar on previous versions; never reported it because it is not particularly annoying and easily fixed.

I just tried it again, and wasn’t able to replicate it. I will need to experiment a bit more to figure out exactly when the bug occurs, which I don’t have time to do right now. I’ll report back when I’ve had some time to figure out the conditions required for the bug to occur.
