is there some more information about the differences between the two Sync modes available (on the DTG2 App)?
Will the search results be different between the different modes?
Is this a per database setting?
What happens after a file is downloaded on demand? Will it be deleted after use, or remain on the device? Or is there even a setting to allow the user to specify if a file stays or gets deleted?
The sync chapter of DEVONthink To Go’s help should contain this information.
No, the only difference is when and how files are downloaded. The search index is always available.
By default a location setting but you can override this for databases and groups.
Depending on the preferences a certain number or all files are stored on the device.

I thought there might be a pdf or ebook of the manual available, as for the other products. This would help if someone without access to the app wants to have a look at the manual. For example to support a decision whether to buy the app or not.
