Has the latest version of Devonthink done away with the coverflow / gallery view? This is the view that showed files’ thumbnails in a kind of carousel that the user could click through. It was an alternative to icon view, column view, and list view. In version 3, I used to use it in one specific workspace, but I cannot find any reference to it in the current documentation. All I see are the aforementioned column, list, and icon views.
Yes, this view has been removed as it was the least popular view and almost unused. The first public beta of version 4 was released in April and as far as I remember you‘re the first user to notice this.
Thanks for the quick reply. I suppose I’m not surprised that it was little used. Even I used it in only one workspace, specifically for viewing a group full of mindnode documents. I’ll probably switch to list view from no own.
Maybe it’s not worth keeping, but it would be nice to have again someday. Let’s see if anyone else chimes in on this thread.
(I’ll just mention that so far I’ve been appreciating the new Devonthink. I’m looking forward to exploring the new Applescript dictionary.)
