I scan my documents on my iPhone and point the destination to my icloud desktop. I have a Hazel rule that moves PDF’s to Devonthink global inbox after about an hour.
However they been disappearing (I am not sure where they are going !)..but they are not going to DT4 global inbox.
Do we have to reinstall the global inbox. I actually tried to do this but under Devonthink> Installaddons but it didn’t work.
The Global Inbox does not exist inside the application any more than your databases do. (This is all well documented in the Getting Started section of the Help and has been this way for a very long time). It’s in the /Library/Application Support/DEVONthink 3 directory or DEVONthink directory for version 4.
So you need to look at your Hazel rule and figure out what it’s pointing at, and adjust accordingly.
I have deleted it an repointed it to the Inbox for DT4 and it works, albeit a little delayed. The files remain in the inbox (as you look at it in the finder) until I restart DT4 then they get moved into DT4
