I’m using Devonthink3 and recently the Global Inbox has stopped updating. It is stored in the normal location, and it used to update/import almost instantly, and for the last couple of weeks it only updates after I shut down the app and restart. Hitting “update database” has no effect, presumably because it’s the global inbox and not the database itself. Any suggestions?

How are you adding files to the Inbox?
Yes of course. Save dialog, dragging directly to Global Inbox, etc. My point is sometimes the Update Items is grayed out, not sure why that would be the case. Sometimes other rules aren’t running in the background even though they are active and have “On Import” selected, almost as if whatever rules/import engine should be running in the background, isn’t.
What has changed on the machine in the last couple of weeks?
Nothing, which is why it is so odd to me, especially since it will update when Devonthink first runs, but stalls after that.
Hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket.
