Grouping Structure When Searching

I am a newbie and maybe I am missing something. When doing a search and all the items are returned that match the search, they are returned individually and not within a database structure and groups.

Is there anyway of the items being returned within the structure they reside?

No but their location is listed under each result. It’s also visible in the Path section of Tools > Inspectors > Info > Generic.

Is there a way then to open file within Its database/group structure?

When doing a smartgroup the location only appears the second way you mentioned?

You could reveal items via Data > Reveal.
