Has anyone tried the new DevonThink eBook?

I am also very hopeful that a suite of tools for the iPad will provide a decent mobile experience for my research PDFs and DevonThink documents. The iPad might even convince me to start using Apple’s Pages.

I began looking for PDF reader options on iPad, but I also want annotation features. iAnnotate looks interesting, maybe a little overkill.

The ideal would be an suite of iPad companion apps that enables me to go back and forth between iPad and computer with:

DEVONthink
Bookends
PDF reader & annotator
A slew of PDFs

Ability to actually type on the onscreen keyboard – I need to test it out at an Apple Store. Already fantasizing and I don’t even own an iPad.

I am currently working my way through the eBook and I am finding it quite useful. Much of the information is not new to me, but some of it is.

What I find most useful is being able pull together what I know about DTPO into a more solid cognitive framework so that I can use it at will. The first few months of learning DTPO where so overwhelming to me that I “learned” some things that I did not actually use…or use well. The book is helping me to put it all into perspective and use the software better.
