Have Anyone try to use UniFi's UNAS lineup as Backup & Syncs for DevonThink since Synology Storage lock policy for their new 2025 model?

I haven’t. But shouldn’t the company tell you if they support SMB and WebDAV (backup/sync, respectively)?

From their website, I understand that all they support is SMB. And the information on their software is lacking so much technical detail I wouldn’t bother thinking about their hardware. There are other NAS offers out there, eg QNAP.

Not to mention that the net is full of advice on how to circumvent Synology’s lock-in.
