Help disappears in Dt3... in the meanwhile

I am not able to open the Help form Dt3… it opens generic Apple help!
In the meanwhile I have a question: I sync via Dropbox where I see a huge DEVONthink Packet Sync folder; is this needed or are enough the same databases on the mac Database folder?

solved?
from the help…
" If you are using a Dropbox sync and also the Dropbox application, it is advisable to exclude the DEVONthink Packet Sync folder inside the Apps folder from being synchronized with your Mac. This keeps the Dropbox app from wasting valuable disk space and bandwidth by re-downloading all changes you’ve made to your databases, and from spamming you with notifications.
Step 1: Click the Dropbox icon in the menubar at the top of your screen, then click the account icon and choose Preferences.
Step 2: Select the Sync tab and click the Choose folders to sync button.
Step 3: Select the Apps folder, and uncheck the DEVONthink Packet Sync folder.
Step 4: Click the Update button and okay the removal of the local data."

But if I get rid of the DEVONthink Packet Sync folder, if I remove Dropbox local data… what is their function?

What is the function of what specifically? DEVONthink’s sync doesn’t use the Dropbox application. It deals directly with their servers so there’s no need to waste bandwidth and disk space storing sync data.

thanks first of all!
I followed the instructions but DEVONthink Packet Sync folder reconstitutes itself in the dropbox folder on the web, it doesn’t take space on the HD but it takes Dropbox space anyway…

got it thanks
