Help with journal shortcut

Thanks for providing such a supportive group.

I have created a shortcut based on that created by Kourosh Dini but with the option of adding multiple tags. Mr Dini’s shortcut approach can be found below:

When I run the shortcut the first line of the note contains either the word (markdown) or (text) depending on the type of file. I would like to avoid this as I need to delete the text in parentheses before I write the note. A small thing for sure but I wonder if anyone in the group might know how to avoid the text appearing in the first place?

Many thanks.

(Markdown)/(Text) will not appear if you specify some content text in the shortcut

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I didn’t want to specify content in the shortcut but simply open a new note in DTTG in order to write directly into the empty note. That said, I could try asking for text via input into the shortcut and then pass that through to the note directly (without actually opening DTTG).

Following on from your tip about content I inserted a line break in the content of the shortcut and now all works well  Thank you.

Can you screenshot your shortcut? Thank you
