Hiding Files by Extention

Because of a piece of software I use to access notes and documents on the iPad, my notes and my documents folders are littered with .plist files. I would like for Devonthink to hide those when I’m searching for a file. I can’t find an easy way to filter them out.

But in fact I only need the PDF, DOCX and XLSX files in DTPO, but particularly not all the TEX, AUX, GZ and LOG files which are produced by LaTeX. Correct. There is no option to hide files, no matter what the extension.
