High CPU usage after highlighting in a pdf file

Hello, today I noticed that DevonThink causes a high CPU usage as long as I highlight some sentences in an OCRed pdf file. After highlighting, the file gets frozen for a few seconds, and the CPU usage is almost 100% by DevonThink. Is this a known issue?

Please provide more detailed information, like the file size and number of pages, as well as the version of DEVONthink and operating system you’re using.

Thanks for your quick reply. The file is about 15 MB, with almost 600 pages. I’m using DEVONThink 3.8.3, and the OS is Monterey 12.3.1.
It does not always happen, but happened several times today.
