HotKey combo

Hi,
Is there a way to change the pre-assigned hoy-key combinations that come in DT Pro?
I would like to change the one for “Take Plain Note” in the Services Menu.
Gave it a try thru the Preferences Panel, Keyboard & Mouse, Keyboard Shortcuts but failed.
Help welcome.

There’s a prefpane called ‘Services.prefPane’ or ‘Service Manager’ you could find at macupdate.com/info.php/id/11777

It’s fairly old now but still works well for most. Piece of freeware from the Quicksilver developer.

An actual software (freeware) to do this very comfortable is Service Scrubber

The tools suggested above will let you make changes to Services hotkeys.

Don’t forget, though, that there is a limited number of possible keystrokes, so that when you set one up it may duplicate a keystroke already in use by another application.

So new shortcut assignments can lead to surprises and aggravation.

Went with Service Scrubber though as Bill posted some limitations with eligible key combos.
