Yes, but it wouldn’t have surprised me if the behavior of WebKit as used by an application was different than Safari’s behavior, for the simple reason that Safari has separate page zoom controls (the ones you get by tapping the address bar, shown below).

For all I know, perhaps the Safari size control overrides whatever is set in Control Center’s Text Size widget.

Yes, I know it’s the default, but because of

  1. the way that DTTG behaves with respect to overriding CSS instead of replacing styles with the user’s (as you explained in your past postings), and
  2. I don’t know what the default is in DTTG

it seemed prudent to try it (and tell people I tried it).
