How can you install the clipper in Safari Technology Preview

Hi!

I’ve been trying to install the DEVONthink Clipper in Safari Technology Preview this weekend but unfortunately it’s not working - STP itself sends me to the Mac App Store to install it, and DEVONthink opens regular Safari. I’ve tried copying the plugin file between the folders manually but either it doesn’t work or I did it wrong because, well, it doesn’t work.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

This doesn’t appear to be possible with the public release of Safari installed.

Which browser is defined as the default on the machine? Safari or STP?

STP.

STP always sends me to the MAS where there seems to be a limited selection of extensions which can be installed - I suspect these need to be submitted to, and approved by, Apple just like everything else there.
