How convert DevonThink texts to simple text (or rtf) for extra backup?
Or is there an automation maybe?

DEVONthink menu: Data > Convert, or the same “Convert” commands in the contextual menu.
What is a “DEVONthink texts”? And, why is converting whatever-it-is an “extra backup”?
Perhaps there is something else underlying the request?

DEVONthink doesn’t proprietary file formats, it’s using plain text (.txt), rich text (.rtf, .rtfd), Markdown (.md) and formatted notes (.html).
