How do I externally link?

Hi,

I’m running DTPro Office and am loving the 2.0 beta. However, I’ve searched the online help (available from within DT) as well as the forums and still can’t figure out how to create an external link to a file within DT. Can someone help me out?

At least some of us are having problems with link functionality - perhaps you’ve figured out how to use them correctly but its not working for you - try the workaround mentioned in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7473

Just use Edit > Copy Item Link.

I just had a ‘duh’ moment when I realized that with DT2’s new database structure all links are actually external links. I never thought of inserting a link in an application other than DT but I’m sure I could find a use for it. Links would be a good candidate for a DEVONacademy video.
