How to configure Search PubMed in templates

I am referring to Data→ New from Template→ Education→ Search Pubmed…
It works VERY well and downloads superb looking easy to edit in RTF references.
My question pertains to configuring pubmed for the search. Pubmed searches have many options such as search within the last (month, year, 5, 10 years), human and / or animal studies, type of publication (eg: “review article” is something I regularly use).
How would I configure my pubmed DevonThink Searches ? I could not find anything in the manual.
Without these parameters, searches often yield a large number or irrelevant references that the user has to sort through.

Templates aren’t customizable at all, the only option is to duplicate & modify them on your own. E.g. change the extension .templatescriptd to .scriptd, then edit the template using the Script Editor.app and finally revert the extension again.

thank you @cgrunenberg . Would there perhaps be a way to allow users to login to their own pubmed accounts which are already completely configured ?
