I’m using the DT template to create a journal entry, but I get the “complex document opened read-only” message. The template is based on an rtf file, so I’m wondering if there’s a different way to construct it so it eliminates whatever is too complex. Thanks!
The best advice would be to wait a bit. It’s no secret that we’re working on a better editor for DEVONthink To Go. If you like you could share your complex document with @aedwards.
Are you using tables?
It appears that particular DT template uses tables, so I deleted them and it worked. Thanks.

If I use a table, I can’t edit it in NTG, is that right？
That is correct. The current text editor doesn’t support tables in RTF.
