How to import DevonNotes 1 into DevonNotes 2

I’ve used DevonNotes 1 from many years and last night upgraded to DevonNotes 2. After the install my notes were not in DevonNotes 2. How do I go about importing from DevonNotes 1?

And option to convert the old database (if still in ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONnote) should have been displayed. Otherwise you could launch DEVONnote 1, select all items and choose File > Export > Files & Folders. Then launch DEVONnote 2, choose File > Import > Files & Folders… and select the exported items.

I actually found an even easier way. I opened both up and dragged the folders from version 1 into version 2. Easy peasy!
