How to Index files that are located on my virtual machine?

BTW, I had to disconnect sharing between Parallels 9/Windows 7 and my Mac OSX 10 because of conflicts with Articulate Storyline.

In use Windows 8 on Parallels 9. If you have disabled OSX/VM sharing, then you’d need to shared index files between the OS X side and the Windows VM through OneDrive or any other cloud service. Of course, this will duplicate files in your VM because the VM is accessing that cloud service independent of OSX.

Not sure if Windows 7 can do this, but using OneDrive makes sense if possible. I will try.
