How to launch?

by keyboard shortcut, I mean.
Command-F launches Finder Find, which with its Spotlight features produces much too many hits.
How can I replace it with EasyFind?
Or how to assign command-option-F for EasyFind?
I think system preferences assigned shortcuts work only for simple menu items.

That’s not possible without a third-party extension. However, the “Find in path” service of the next release will support the currently selected folder of the Finder and you could assign a shortcut to this service then.

I’m using v3.9 which seems to be dated 5/06. I don’t find any sort of “Find in Path” appearing anywhere. Am I having a case of situational blindness or is the next release v4.0?

Thanks,
Barry
