Thanks! I do now have the Bartender 6 beta working in Setapp; it has quite a few rough edges compared to the Sequoia version, but I’ll see how I get on.

For sake of completeness (or approaching it), there’s also barbee. While hunting the link fo Barbee, I found this page with even more bartender alternatives, including a recipe to roll (and debug) your own for bettertouchtool users.

I’ve tried using Bartender 6 on macOS Tahoe for some days now… unfortunately, it’s a buggy mess.

It does not keep the order of the items; I often see duplicates; it’s overall slow and buggy.

For now, I decided to uninstall it, and don’t use any menu bar customization apps

I’ve been using Ice, after @BLUEFROG commented, and like it. I’m not on Tahoe yet.
