How to sort the sorter?

Hi.
How is it possible to sort the different elements of the sorter ?
I would have some groups before other (because I use them more often).
But I don’t see how it’s possible.
(and I don’t see how they are currently sorted).

You can’t reorder the databases and groups in the Sorter.
If you need a specific order, add them as Favorites in the Navigate sidebar, and drag and drop them in the order you want. The Favorites in the Sorter should show them in the same order.

and just for my information, how are the groups classified in the sorter? (what’s the rule ?)

Databases and groups are alphabetical. Favorites can manually ordered in DEVONthink.

Try also global smart groups. They can preserve current collapsed / expanded state for enclosed groups, each individually.
