Howto import apple mail properly

I am searching for the wright way to archive the mail. Have imported the mail for the first time with the plugin for Apple mail but all the mail ended up in the global inbox.
How to get it in my database called mail-archive?

Have you looked at page 57 of the user guide (also available through the in-app Help). It is covered extensively there in quite a helpful manner.

You can choose the location in the Location dropdown in the View > Import sidebar.

Thanks.Has red this part but missed the part of setting the location. And it is indeed covered extensively .
