I am consolidating all my files and notes into Devonthink. I’ve imported all my Evernote data and my iCloud documents. I have a lot of duplicates between Evernote and what was stored in iCloud. The imported Evernote docs are in Formatted Note format and the iCloud docs are in HTML. Which should I delete, the HTML or the Formatted Note?
My preference is Formatted Note
HTML notes aren’t fully supported in DTTG
There’s no edit mode
Both formats are HTML code based and use the .html extension
With Formatted Note the coding is hidden
but can be accessed by opening the note in a text editor app

@DTLow is correct here. I would recommend keeping the formatted notes if you are or plan to use DEVONthink To Go. If not, you could keep them anyways. If you’re inclined to tinker with the underlying markup, keep the .HTML files.
