# I get the Summary emails twice

I get the Summary emails twice like [another user mentions](https://discourse.devontechnologies.com/t/im-receiving-the-forum-updates-email-twice/80541).

Both emails go to the same email address, so I guess they have to be associated with the same account.

Why does this happen and how can I avoid it?

Maybe you signed up twice with two alias addresses or you signed up with a forwarder address and now you get both, the original one and the forwarded one?

I’m skeptical, because both come to teh same email address.

But let me unsubscribe from _one_ email – then the other Summary email should still reach me.

I will report back.
