I renamed my HD. Can I "relink" or do I have to reindex?

…and if relink is possible, how can I do so?

Did you rename the start volume or another volume? And what exactly did you index on that volume?

Thank you for spending time on this. I renamed an external HD and I linked (not copied) several folders before renaming.The Database-Folder (.dtBase2) is also renamed on my MacHD.

If you’re using DEVONthink 3.8, then you could select each indexed folder and use the Path popup in the Info inspector to choose the new location.
